Observational/ Shading Project

The Shading project had to be one of the most time consuming project I  have ever done. This was also one of the first full page shading still life I've done. The point of this project was to take a everyday object and turn it into something new. In my case turning a ice cream into a light bulb was one of the first thoughts that popped into my head. What I did struggle with was working with a different medium. Shading with charcoal pencils was difficult even with the blending stump.
